I feel like this task has benefited me by a great amount. I feel like my photoshop skills have improved especially when making my front page. I have learnt many skills. For example, I have learnt where to place my images and what camera shots to use. I have learnt how to use a variety of fonts and where to place my text on the front cover. On my contents page, I learnt that I need to include features and regulars on there. I have also learnt that I needed to use a colour scheme for the front page and contents page. My skills have definitely improved.

Lyle your blog is organised and in task order. Good start. Maintain this level of organisation and keep meeting the tasks deadlines. Regular blogging of lessons and work completed is vital. Likewise ensure that you continue to complete your production schedule as you progress. You have quite a brief analysis in terms of case studies. I would like to see you use more semiotic language and terminology across all three elements of the magazines. Discuss the journalism, language used, layout, image placement and techniques in greater detail with specific reference to parts of the magazine. You have annotated the audience for these magazines again briefly. Again more visual reference to press packs/ media kits and a thorough audience profile. Link this audience overview to the codes and conventions. Institutions are mentioned. More in depth research needed for the next few tasks.
